I started on this idea very early in the year. It was just a pencil drawing, but it evolved into this after a couple of turning points in my own life. While dealing with several very personal issues, those I would rather wait to go into for another time, I found a lot of drive to get this idea down and done.

Corel Painter X – 2010
Due to a high request volume from people visiting my website, I decided to continue with the Maleficent sketch and make it a full color illustration. This felt pretty good because I may do a full series of villains. I’m not quite used to doing fan art, and there are actually quite a few more things that I am a bigger fan of than Disney movies (Sci-Fi, Books, Games), so who knows how this idea came into my head. There are a lot of good fan-art renditions of Disney heroes and villains out there, so mine are just another to throw onto the pile. However, I wanted to give them a slight redesign based on my personal ideals and how I would present them had I been in charge of their design.
Hey Goss and company *wave*, I haven’t forgotten about you guys! Currently I am in the process of updating this portion of the site for a feed and goodies. It will look pretty much similar, but I will have some better updating features for everyone shortly. Things are incredibly hectic here as card work, comics, commissions, and personal life is all a priority. However, I understand the importance of keeping you all updated easily and want to be able to make that happen. Just give me a couple of days. =)
